SAICOS UV PROTECTIVE WOOD FINISH (EXTERIOR) 

Satin matt finishes for exterior clear oil.

Based on natural vegetable oils – this reduces greying (and yellowing) when compared with untreated wood. The micro porous wood stain will not crack, flake, peel or blister.

It is water repellent and moisture regulating and reduces swelling and shrinking of the wood.

SAICOS UV PROTECTIVE WOOD FINISH EXTERIOR is easy to apply and easy to maintain

Natural Oil Base:

SAICOS UV PROTECTIVE WOOD FINISH EXTERIOR is based on natural vegetable oils. The natural raw materials penetrate into the wood, keeping it sound and elastic and avoid wood from becoming dry. Allows the wood to breathe therefore the moisture can evaporate and shrinking and swelling will be reduced.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION:

Can be applied on all exterior wood which is to be left “natural“, ie: wood panelling, undersides of roofs,

Wooden garden furniture, summer houses, outside windows and doors, fencing etc.

As full finish – 2 coats:

1101 colourless on wood surface which will leave the wood looking natural.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Preparation: Wood surface must be clean and dry (max. moisture content 18 %). Clean old micro porous finishes if in good condition. Remove old varnishes. Apply on frost-free wood only (working temperature not lower than 5° C).

Application:

SAICOS UV PROTECTIVE WOOD FINISH EXTERIOR is ready to use, do not thin, stir well.

Apply with a flat brush (SAICOS flat brush with pure bristles) thinly and evenly on a clean and dry surface along the wood grain.

Drying time:

Approx. 6 – 8 hrs. (depending on air temperature and humidity). Dust dry after approx. 4 hrs.

A second coat can be applied after complete drying.

BEST TEMPERATURE FOR APPLICATION:

Between 5° C and 35° C.

Apply on frost-free wood only.

EASY MAINTENANCE:

Wood treated with SAICOS UV PROTECTIVE WOOD FINISH EXTERIOR as a rule does not require any specified maintenance.

For freshening up no sanding will be required to apply a fresh coat on the cleaned and dry surface.
